Work Environment

This position is designed to take place directly onsite, allowing for close interaction with patients in a home care setting. You will work within a supportive team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, assistants, and administrative staff, all dedicated to ensuring optimal patient recovery and satisfaction. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which allows for a work-life balance while making a significant impact in the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to create tailored rehabilitation plans.
• Implement treatment protocols using advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy.
• Educate patients on effective movement strategies and provide guidelines for at-home exercises to enhance recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcome assessments.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on comprehensive care strategies, ensuring that each patient's needs are met holistically.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your daily interactions will involve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, postoperative cases, and those battling chronic musculoskeletal disorders. You will play a crucial role in empowering these patients, helping them restore functionality and improve their overall quality of life, while actively involving them in their treatment processes for better adherence and outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure in the state of Nevada or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to starting.
• Proven clinical skills in physical therapy particularly within an outpatient setting.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy practice, particularly in orthopedic settings.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care and manage treatment plans effectively.
• Familiarity with current orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Perfect Balance Rehab Center offers a competitive salary range between $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
