Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients, ensuring comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.

• Provide education to clients and their families on mental health issues, including coping strategies and treatment adherence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves children, adolescents, and their families within the community of Ontario, California. Our client population often includes individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. As a mental health counselor, you will play a pivotal role in helping these clients by offering tailored interventions that promote resilience and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline from an accredited institution is required. Candidates who are within one year of degree completion will also be considered.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California is mandatory.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience providing counseling services to diverse populations is essential.

• Strong knowledge of mental health theories, research on human development, and therapeutic interventions.

• Proficient in using interview techniques and familiar with current trends and ethical standards in the mental health field.
