Salary Range: $56,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain CNC programs for lathe operations.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters.
• Optimize programs for efficiency, cycle time, and tool life.
• Perform test runs and make adjustments to programs as needed.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to resolve programming issues.
• Document program changes and maintain a revision control system.
• Implement quality control procedures to ensure part accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming for CNC lathes.
• Demonstrated experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) for generating toolpaths.
• Strong understanding of tooling, workholding, and fixture design for lathe operations.
• Ability to interpret engineering blueprints, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications.
• Knowledge of various metals and their machining properties.
