Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center boasts a welcoming atmosphere that prioritizes patient care and teamwork. In this onsite role, you will find state-of-the-art equipment and treatment areas designed to facilitate effective rehabilitation therapies. Your work hours will be scheduled from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a predictable work routine and ample time for yourself and your family.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for three patients per hour, creating individualized treatment strategies tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans focusing on both short-term and long-term rehabilitation goals for adult patients aged 40-65.
• Utilize evidence-based practices including hands-on therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records using CureMD Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring timely communication with referring providers and adherence to best practices in documentation.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that motivates patients to actively participate in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients, particularly those aged 40-65, who are undergoing rehabilitation for various conditions, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and mobility challenges. You will engage with a diverse patient population, understanding their unique needs and tailoring treatment plans accordingly to help them regain their optimal function and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities to adapt therapy interventions based on patient progress and feedback.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, with a strong emphasis on adult rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Previous experience using EMR systems, particularly CureMD, will enhance your ability to record and monitor patient progress efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist role offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 annually, complemented by an attractive benefits package that includes:
