This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in work hours while providing essential mental health services through various telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments via telehealth, providing crisis interventions and necessary follow-up care to ensure ongoing patient support.

• Determine appropriate disposition of patients based on their needs, coordinating with related health care services to facilitate the best possible treatment outcomes.

• Complete statistical reports and documentation as required, ensuring compliance with organizational standards while maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Work collaboratively with the Department of Corrections to assist in care coordination, treatment disposition, and housing arrangements for affected individuals.
\n
• Lead group therapy sessions and treatment on mental health observation units, fostering a safe environment for discussing challenges and promoting wellness.

• Engage in case conferences and treatment planning, actively participating in discussions surrounding patient care to refine therapeutic strategies and improve clinical outcomes.

• Participate in weekly clinical supervision sessions to enhance your professional development and ensure alignment with best practices.
\n
• Be involved in mental health and medical rounds, integrating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.

• On occasion, conduct psychological testing and assessments to aid in the diagnosis and treatment planning of complex cases.

• Supervise social work interns or student volunteers to foster their development and ensure they contribute effectively within the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our clients come from different socio-economic backgrounds, and your ability to consider their social, environmental, psychological, and cultural factors is critical to providing effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related fields is required to qualify for this role.

• Possession or the ability to obtain a valid State license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Preferred Experience\n

While candidates with varied levels of experience will be considered, applicants with a minimum of two years in a mental health counseling role, particularly in a telehealth setting, will be preferred. Experience in group therapy and familiarity with case management practices will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
