Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $1,890 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse specializing in the Labor and Delivery Department is sought for a night shift position. This role involves providing high-quality obstetrical care to a diverse patient population, including neonates and adults, within a facility with 15 beds and 100-200 births per month. The position offers flexibility with a choice of 36 or 48-hour weekly schedules and is open to first-time travelers. Job Details: Certifications: ACLS; AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP (pending certifications are acceptable). Education Requirements: Relevant L&D nursing certification and licensure. Location Requirements: Must be licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in the state of practice. Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferred. Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week. Responsibilities include antepartum care, assisting with high-risk and vaginal deliveries, circulating for cesarean sections, managing insulin drips, and monitoring electronic fetal heart data. Candidates should have experience with obstetrical patient triage, sterile procedures, and the use of external fetal monitoring units. Additional qualifications include experience with facility births, central line maintenance, and PPE protocols. Floating to similar units may be required as needed.
