Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for clients based on their unique needs.

• Provide a variety of therapeutic services, including individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic methodologies.

• Engage in collaborative case reviews with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and effective client care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in alignment with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Stay abreast of the latest mental health research by participating in workshops and professional development opportunities to foster continuous growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work with a diverse population, including individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health resources. Our clients present a variety of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance misuse. Counselors are expected to adapt their strategies to meet the specific cultural and situational needs of their clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
\n
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is a must.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele.

• Demonstrated teamwork capabilities with a focus on collaborative client care.

• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and related technology to streamline client documentation and care coordination.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Competitive annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload size.
