Key Responsibilities\n

• Performing comprehensive preliminary interviews to document clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health history.
\n
• Conducting detailed assessments to evaluate the psychological state of clients and identify their needs.
\n
• Crafting individualized intervention strategies and recovery plans tailored to clients of all demographics including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Leading therapeutic sessions, both individual and group, focusing on fostering a safe and supportive environment conducive to healing and personal growth.
\n
• Tracking and documenting patient progress throughout the treatment journey, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and social workers, to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Managing referrals to other specialized services, ensuring clients receive holistic care addressing all aspects of their condition.
\n
• Providing guidance and support to family members and caregivers, equipping them with tools to assist clients effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral conditions. Clients may come from diverse backgrounds and age groups, each presenting unique challenges that require sensitivity and understanding. Your role as a counselor will directly influence their healing process by establishing trust and fostering resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health principles and interventions.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably AVATAR, to track client progress and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, with a focus on therapeutic practices and methodologies.

• Familiarity with addiction treatment and management of co-occurring disorders.
\n
• Awareness of best practices set by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and other governing bodies.

• Understanding of the pharmacological treatments prescribed by medical specialists and their impact on mental health.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting your expertise and dedication. Additionally, you will be eligible for a sign-on bonus, further rewarding your commitment to enhancing our clients’ mental health.
