Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Insightful Journey Counseling, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating treatment plans for clients focusing on relationship dynamics.

• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples, and conducting individual sessions to address personal and relational issues.
\n
• Specializing in a range of family-related issues, including but not limited to:

• Alcohol Abuse

• Physical and Psychological Abuse
\n
• Grief and Loss Issues
\n
• Family Conflicts among Members
\n
• Job-Related Stress
\n
• Adjustment Issues related to Divorce and Separation
\n
• Communication Barriers between Family Members

• Blended Families arising from Remarriage
\n
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated care for our clients.

• Participating in ongoing professional development activities and staying current with best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, in various contexts. By adopting a family-centered approach, you will provide your clients with the support they need to overcome personal and relational challenges. Our clients come from varied backgrounds, and it is essential for candidates to be culturally competent and sensitive to individual needs within their family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• A valid and active LMFT license in the State of Illinois.
