Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and identify suitable treatment methodologies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, ensuring they are tailored to each patient's unique needs.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) as part of the therapeutic regimen.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing trauma experiences, formulating coping strategies, and advancing their healing journeys.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and composed demeanor in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms while connecting them to relevant resources within the community.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all records reflect comprehensive care and meet regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from the effects of trauma—namely those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population is diverse, including adults from various backgrounds, each requiring individualized therapy tailored to their life experiences and needs. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant post-licensure experience is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, underpinned by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n
