Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for patients and their families, gathering information about their medical history, personal circumstances, and emotional state to identify needs and risks.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific mental health issues while collaborating closely with the patient and multidisciplinary team members to ensure effective outcomes.

• Utilize strategies from evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and grief counseling techniques to support patients' emotional healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focused on coping strategies, emotional regulation, grief management, and enhancing patient resilience.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and ensuring referrals to higher care when needed.

• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and local resources, empowering them with knowledge that promotes autonomy and well-being.

• Maintain meticulous and compliant documentation for all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, reviewing them regularly to reflect ongoing patient care needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
