Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and identify appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to clients’ unique challenges, goals, and preferences.

• Provide ongoing individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices and culturally responsive techniques.

• Regularly monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and providing support throughout their recovery journeys.

• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and support groups, to enhance clients’ treatment outcomes.

• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure continuity of care.

• Participate in case consultations with a multidisciplinary team to discuss treatment strategies and patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals coping with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, requiring cultural competence and sensitivity to provide effective therapy. Your expertise will support clients in achieving personal recovery goals and improving their overall mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of related counseling experience in a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and proven experience with evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to develop rapport and trust with a diverse range of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
