Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create tailored treatment plans for clients, incorporating client input to ensure person-centered care.

• Engage in crisis intervention and develop pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, medication treatment plans, and risk assessments.

• Complete all necessary documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring timely reporting and record-keeping.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools, as determined by the clinical team, to effectively evaluate and monitor client progress.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that align with client goals.
\n
• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain high standards of care.
\n
• Serve as a liaison to community partners, state agencies, and service systems, fostering connections that benefit clients and the organization.

• Maintain open communication channels to uphold contract standards and promote Medstar's mission within the community.

• Engage in professional growth activities, including attending relevant conferences, workshops, and statewide meetings to enhance expertise in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse outpatient clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance use. You will be expected to adapt your therapeutic approach to cater to the unique needs of each individual, fostering engagement and facilitating their journey toward better mental health and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.

• An independent LMHC license granted by the state licensing board is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
