Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health status and establish foundational therapeutic relationships.

• Facilitate regular sessions with clients, providing them essential coping tools and strategies to navigate their challenges, whether related to substance abuse, anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans using our EHR system, keeping in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Active Path Counseling Center, you will work closely with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing mental health disorders, substance use issues, and life transitions. Your ability to understand and address the complexities of different backgrounds and experiences will enable you to deliver care that is both respectful and effective.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• A minimum of four years of related experience in a clinical setting.

• A strong working knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment models, and the ability to implement culturally competent therapeutic practices.

• Proven experience providing individual and group therapy, employing inclusive methodologies suitable for a wide range of patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
