Role Description The ABA Billing Specialist is a full-time hybrid role based in Tampa, FL, with some flexibility for work from home. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end billing process for ABA services, including preparing, reviewing, and submitting claims to payers and clients with accuracy and timeliness. Day-to-day tasks include handling client billing inquiries, reconciling accounts, processing invoicing, and tracking payments to ensure proper revenue flow. The specialist will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to verify authorization details, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain compliance with payer and regulatory requirements. The role also involves maintaining detailed records, generating billing reports, and communicating clearly with families, payers, and internal staff regarding billing and account status. Qualifications Strong understanding of billing processes and client billing for healthcare or ABA services. Experience with invoicing and basic accounting principles related to accounts receivable. Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, caregivers, payers, and internal teams. Proficiency with billing software, practice management systems, and common office applications. High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to manage multiple billing deadlines. Knowledge of insurance billing, authorization requirements, and ABA-specific billing is preferred. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment based in Tampa, FL.
