Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility and convenience of remote work, allowing you to engage with clients effectively within your own workspace. While the standard work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, we recognize the importance of accommodating patients' needs, and some scheduling flexibility may be necessary. As a therapist navigating the digital landscape, you will leverage electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to maintain service quality and patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments that capture the unique experiences and backgrounds of each patient, leading to tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapted to individual cultural contexts.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary approach to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, guiding patients and their families through immediate challenges while establishing long-term support mechanisms.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can assist them on their journey to wellness.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation in compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and security for our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving a diverse patient population, including individuals from ethnic and cultural minority backgrounds, the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrants adjusting to new environments. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
