Key Responsibilities\n

• Client Assessments: Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations for new and existing clients, meticulously documenting their histories from the first consultation to the conclusion of treatment.

• Treatment Planning: Develop tailored intervention strategies and recovery plans for diverse populations, including individual clients, couples, families, and groups, ensuring that each plan is aligned with therapeutic best practices.

• Therapy Facilitation: Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to support clients through various mental health challenges, while fostering a safe, welcoming environment.

• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track client progress related to specific treatment goals, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaboration: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to coordinate the best possible care for clients.

• Referral Management: Assist clients in navigating the healthcare system for additional support services such as psychiatric referrals, while providing guidance to family members and primary caregivers.

• Behavioral Intervention: Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these behaviors in collaboration with clients.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Active licensure in the state of Colorado as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• Examinations: A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of electronic health record systems, with a particular emphasis on tools like AVATAR.

• Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication abilities essential for effective client interaction and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous hands-on experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating a solid track record of successful client outcomes.

• Experience addressing complex psychological conditions and an understanding of co-occurring disorders.

• Familiarity with the standards and practices endorsed by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Knowledge of the pharmacological treatments prescribed by medical professionals and their implications on client behavior.

Compensation and Benefits\n
