Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing a variety of mental health therapy techniques and modalities to deliver effective treatment to individuals and families facing diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders.

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to formulate initial treatment plans and discharge plans that guide patient care.

• Facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions according to established treatment goals and client needs.

• Documenting therapy services meticulously in compliance with facility and professional standards, ensuring that records reflect treatment efficacy and any adjustments made.

• Maintaining an assigned caseload while participating in regular treatment team meetings to collaborate with other staff members in providing comprehensive care.

• Proactively addressing patient needs and resolving any complaints to enhance overall client satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications\n

To be eligible for this role, you must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

• Current state or national licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Strong commitment to mental health advocacy and removal of stigmas, along with the ability to form genuine therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates with experience providing services to both children and adults, or those who have worked across different treatment modalities, will be highly valued.
