This position is remote, enabling counselors to leverage technology to deliver high-quality treatment and maintain consistent communication with clients. We follow a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their history, challenges, and treatment goals, ensuring a tailored approach to each individual's care.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based methodologies that address the unique needs of clients experiencing substance use disorders.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions, effectively employing therapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to facilitate client engagement and progress.

• Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions, encouraging peer support and promoting shared experiences among clients on similar recovery paths.

• Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care and ensure all aspects of a client’s treatment are integrated.

• Offer crisis intervention services as needed, providing immediate support during substance-related emergencies to ensure client safety and stabilization.

• Educate clients and their families on addiction dynamics, recovery strategies, and available community resources to foster a supportive recovery environment.

• Maintain meticulous client records and documentation aligned with legal, ethical, and organizational standards to ensure transparency and quality of care.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge of best practices in substance use treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Washington State as LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PSYD.

• Substantial knowledge of substance use disorders and proficient understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches and recovery-oriented care principles.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
