Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in our outpatient office, where you will work collaboratively in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere alongside two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our team focuses on a high patient volume, typically seeing 2-3 patients per hour, facilitating a fast-paced yet rewarding work environment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance while delivering essential care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual goals and needs, ensuring personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques and methodologies to develop effective care strategies that help improve motion, mobility, and overall functioning.
• Implement cost-effective treatments aimed at reducing pain without reliance on medications and providing non-surgical alternatives where applicable.
• Create wellness-oriented programs that include fitness and exercise plans, meticulously tailored to meet each patient's specific requirements.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment sessions, fostering an environment that encourages optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and address all aspects of each patient's health.
• Continuously evaluate treatment progress and document care services effectively using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Engage in community outreach and educational opportunities to promote awareness of physical wellness and preventive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse range of clients with orthopedic needs, including post-surgical patients, individuals with chronic pain, sports injuries, and rehabilitation following accidents or falls. We prioritize patient-centered care and work closely with each individual to set realistic rehabilitation goals that lead to tangible outcomes, enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A current New Jersey Physical Therapist License, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in guiding patients through effective exercise regimens.
• Experience with EMR software is necessary; familiarity with WebPT is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit are essential for engaging with patients and collaborating with team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Proven ability to adapt treatment plans according to patient progress and feedback.
• Experience in creating comprehensive wellness programs and motivational strategies for long-term patient engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
