Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive mental health counseling services to clients using a variety of modalities, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Set and manage your own schedule, accommodating client needs while maintaining flexibility in your professional life.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with clients, helping them to explore their options for moderation versus abstinence within the harm-reduction model.

• Communicate and educate clients about local community recovery support options, like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and SMART Recovery, emphasizing their role in a comprehensive recovery plan.

• Participate actively in ongoing professional development, including obtaining CEU credits annually at no personal cost.

• Work closely with a dedicated administrative team who will handle billing and other backend tasks, allowing you to concentrate fully on client care.

• Collaborate with the Content Manager to create insightful articles and resources that contribute to the overall knowledge within the community, if this aligns with your interests.

• Lead optional support groups, enhancing the community aspect of your clinical practice and providing additional resources for clients.

You will play a crucial role in guiding these individuals on their journeys, ensuring that they feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their process.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license in California as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.

Compensation and Benefits\n
