In the remote work setting, our therapists have the flexibility to manage their schedules while ensuring that they are available to meet the needs of their clients. Our operation hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient demands. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the individual needs and challenges of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on assessments, taking into account the unique developmental stages and family dynamics of each young client.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to effectively address concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at enhancing parental engagement and building a supportive home environment for children and adolescents.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during critical mental health emergencies involving young clients.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to promote informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Stay up-to-date with current research and emerging best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry to inform treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of children and adolescents dealing with mental health challenges. Clients range from those experiencing mild emotional distress to severe mental health conditions requiring intensive therapeutic support. Family involvement is emphasized, ensuring a well-rounded approach to treatment that fosters a nurturing atmosphere for young patients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience providing individual and family therapy to young clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, child-centered approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n
