Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings for clients, establishing a detailed understanding of their mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve clients undergoing detoxification and those grappling with mental health disorders. Our patient population is diverse, and you will have the opportunity to work with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, allowing you to enhance your clinical skills and cultural competence. The focus will be on creating a safe and therapeutic environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their concerns and aspirations.

Qualifications\n

  A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

  A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field; a master’s or doctoral degree is preferred.

  Demonstrated experience—at least two years—specifically in the field of mental health counseling.

  A thorough understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches and their application to various mental health disorders.

• \n

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and motivate clients effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in a detox center or residential treatment setting is preferred. Candidates with specialized training or certification in trauma-informed care or substance use disorder treatment are highly encouraged to apply. Previous involvement in collaborative treatment models will be seen as an asset.
