Legal Billing Coordinator

****THIS POSITION IS A HYBRID ROLE WITH A MOSTLY WORK FROM HOME SCHEDULE. HOWEVER, THERE ARE OCCASIONAL IN OFFICE MEETINGS AND TEAM BUILDING EVEFNTS. SO THE CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN HOUSTON, TX AND BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO THE DOWNTOWN HOUSTON OFFICE AS NEEDED FOR WORK MEETINGS AND EVENTS.*****

Great opportunity with a Downtown Houston area law firm, which is a leading large national law firm, has a Legal Billing Coordinator role open in the Houston, TX location. As mentioned, this position is mostly a remote/work from home role but does require occasional in office meetings and team building events, so must live in Houston.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reviews, edits, and processes prebills; prepares final invoices for transmittal to clients.
• Reviews and monitors rates.
• Reviews and updates daily, monthly, and quarterly reports; performs reconciliations and adjustments.
• Responds to client inquiries.
• Maintains bill profiles on client billing requirements, maintains filing systems according to firm policies and procedures.
• Maintains and disseminates information on special client time reporting and billing requirements; assists assigned attorneys with miscellaneous billing matters.

Requirements:

• Must have 5+ years of complex legal billing experience from a large national law firm
• Must have either Aderant Expert/Classic software or 3E/Elite software experience - one of them is required
• Strong MS Office skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Salary range is $75-105K based upon experience.
