Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments through secure video calls to identify clients' mental health needs and establish appropriate treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual, couple, family, and group counseling sessions, tailoring approaches to each specific scenario and client’s unique circumstances.

• Employ evidence-based techniques and virtual tools to perform mental health screenings and identify areas requiring immediate support.
\n
• Engage with clients to understand their personal goals, continually assessing their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes while adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices within the telehealth program.

• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the practice and improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population in Walla Walla and surrounding areas, addressing a wide array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Your expertise will empower clients to achieve their personal objectives, improve their coping strategies, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), or Social Work (LICSW) is required.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, or Clinical Social Worker in Washington State.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 3 to 5 years of practical experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on individual and group therapies, as well as substance use disorders.

• In-depth knowledge of contemporary counseling theories, techniques, and established best practices.

• Experience working with various age groups and a commitment to cultural competency and working with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
