Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychiatric or psychosocial assessments, including detailed mental status examinations, to evaluate patients' mental health needs.

• Collaborate with patients to develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs. This will include options for individual therapy, couples counseling, family sessions, and psychoeducation.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities in psychotherapy sessions, incorporating techniques such as problem-solving, role-playing, and social skills enhancement to promote effective community participation.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient encounters using our electronic health records system, adhering to organizational standards and policies.

• Actively monitor and evaluate patient progress through outcome measurements to inform therapy direction and effectiveness.

• Work closely with referral sources and interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care and optimal treatment pathways.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counseling services cater to a broad spectrum of patients experiencing behavioral health disorders, mental health issues, and co-occurring substance use disorders. You will engage with diverse populations, providing care that reflects cultural competence and sensitivity to individual backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a closely related field.

• Current active licensure in the State of Washington as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing direct patient mental health care.

• Proficient ability to create high-quality clinical notes and intake reports, showcasing excellent written communication skills.

• Strong time management abilities and organizational skills to effectively balance patient caseloads and administrative tasks.

Compensation and Benefits\n

MultiCare Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, we provide:
