A growing national AmLaw 100 law firm is hiring a Legal Billing Specialist for its Chicago, NY, LA, and Denver offices on a hybrid schedule. Seeking billers with experience supporting the legal billing cycle end to end, prebills and proformas through final client invoices. What you’ll do: Own the monthly billing cycle for your assigned attorneys: draft, edit, and distribute prebills and proformas Execute complex billing adjustments, write-downs, and rate changes with precision Generate and distribute client invoices; submit LEDES e-billing through client platforms and clear rejections fast Apply client billing guidelines and outside counsel guidelines to time entries Answer attorney and client billing inquiries with white‑glove service Catch discrepancies early and bring process improvements to the billing team What you bring: Legal billing or professional‑services billing experience; law firm strongly preferred Elite 3E or Aderant experience, or a comparable legal billing platform, plus e‑billing tools Month‑end accuracy under high volume Competitive Big Law compensation package: medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and parking/transit support, on a hybrid schedule.
