This full-time remote position focuses on providing telehealth services to individuals recovering from substance use disorders. Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of a remote telehealth setting, allowing you to establish connections with clients in the comfort of their homes. Although primarily conducted via video calls, you will have opportunities for face-to-face encounters through community outreach and educational sessions. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, though some evening shifts may be necessary depending on the availability and needs of your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate individual needs and establish personalized therapy goals.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to guide clients through recovery.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions via telehealth platforms, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.

• Lead engaging group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive atmosphere where participants can freely share their experiences and challenges.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care.

• Offer crisis intervention support, effectively managing substance-related emergencies and ensuring client safety.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery processes, available resources, and coping strategies.
\n
• Document all client interactions accurately and maintain confidentiality in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development, including attending team meetings and integrating the latest research into practice.

• Keep updated on advancements in treatment methodologies and best practices within the field of substance use disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals grappling with substance use disorders, each with unique backgrounds and challenges. Many of our clients come from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and face complex barriers to recovery. Your role will be crucial in understanding their individual circumstances and helping to design therapeutic interventions that best meet their needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
\n
• Deep understanding of substance use disorders, treatment modalities, and principles of recovery-oriented care.
\n
• Demonstrated experience delivering both individual and group therapy interventions within the context of addiction treatment.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a non-judgmental and empathetic approach.
\n
• Proficient in maintaining professional boundaries, adhering to ethical guidelines, and ensuring client confidentiality.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate coordinated care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
