Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs, challenges, and strengths, which will inform individualized treatment plans.

• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, both in individual and group therapy settings, to address a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients encountering severe emotional distress, conducting immediate assessments to ensure safety and appropriate care.
\n
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians and other specialists, to ensure cohesive care delivery and effective communication regarding patient progress and emerging needs.

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and progress notes according to department policy, using electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance accessibility and compliance.

• Engage with community organizations and resource groups to build partnerships, advocate for patient needs, and represent MindShift Behavioral Health in discussions on social support and intervention strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on serving individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to mood disorders, trauma histories, and substance abuse issues. The diversity of our clientele reflects the broader community, and you will be instrumental in providing culturally competent and compassionate care tailored to each individual's unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is required.

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

• Minimum of three years of experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, demonstrating effective clinical skills and patient engagement strategies.

• Strong ability to foster positive professional relationships with colleagues, patients, and community stakeholders.
\n
• Proficient knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, assessment tools, and current evidence-based practices in mental health.

• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interactions with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have experience in substance abuse counseling or crisis intervention, as well as familiarity with telehealth practices and technologies. Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques or family therapy may be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary between USD 100,000 and 105,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
