We have a Foreign Bank Client seeking a motivated Biligual Portuguese English Operations Assistant to support their busy operations team in MT New York City. This pivotal role provides critical back-office support that ensures the seamless execution of client transactions, maintains compliance standards, and boosts overall client satisfaction. If you're eager to thrive in a fast-paced financial setting and have a knack for organization and communication, this is the opportunity for you to make an impact. This is a FT role with an excellent benefit package that includes no cost to employee and eligible dependents. Base salary up to USD62,400.00

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, International Relations, or a related field
• Knowledge of financial products such as wire transfers, time deposits, loans, and SBLCs
• Excellent communication skills with a client-focused attitude
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
• Ability to multitask effectively under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Fluent in English and Portuguese l
• Nice to Have Skills:
• Experience working in banking or financial services
• Familiarity with SWIFT messaging or transaction monitoring systems
• Experience coordinating cross-border transactions or liaising with international offices

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Prior experience in banking operations, client service, or back-office support
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

Other Requirements:

• This role requires on-site presence in New York, NY (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
• Strong understanding of compliance, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Willingness to support audits and process reviews as needed
