Work Environment\n

This position is uniquely designed to be conducted remotely, providing the flexibility to work from home while focusing on client care. While the standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the role may occasionally require the ability to work evenings or weekends on a rotating basis. Utilizing technology and telehealth platforms, you will engage with clients through virtual sessions, enabling you to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and duration of symptoms for clients presenting with mood disorders, including depression and anxiety disorders.

• Work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and therapeutic needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to each client's situation.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery process.

• Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans when necessary, ensuring effective pathways toward achieving stable mental health.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care that promotes comprehensive support for clients.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest research and best practices in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance therapy effectiveness.

• Document all aspects of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and confidentially, adhering to established legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will employ your expertise to assist a diverse clientele that often includes individuals from various cultural backgrounds and age groups. Understanding this diversity and the unique challenges each client faces is crucial in delivering compassionate and effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas is essential to this role.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, with a focus on mood disorders preferred, showcasing a solid background in therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
