Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and fostering positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethical standards.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, provide stability, and discuss upcoming appointments or the potential for discharge when appropriate.

• Design, implement, and review personalized treatment plans that center around the client's unique needs and goals.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress notes for all clients, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

• Conduct intake assessments to gather comprehensive client backgrounds, establishing strong foundations for therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Current, unrestricted Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey is mandatory.

• At least one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapy practices.

• Proficiency in using computers, including experience with spreadsheet software, case management systems (RMS), and email communication platforms such as Microsoft Outlook and Pimsy.
