Business Development Manager
Taurean Consulting Group is a 100% woman-owned IT staffing and project solutions company built on deep relationships. With over 25 years of experience in technology staffing, we match candidates to the culture of an organization as well as required skill sets.
Our client is seeking a driven, technically knowledgeable business development manager to develop new customer relationships and expand its presence throughout the Las Vegas market. This is not a traditional bid-list sales position. The company is looking for a relationship-focused sales professional who can identify decision-makers, open doors, and build direct relationships with commercial customers. The ideal candidate understands electronic security and low-voltage systems well enough to speak confidently with customers, identify opportunities, support accurate proposals, and help position the company as a long-term security partner. This role is ideal for an experienced low-voltage salesperson, account manager, or former fire alarm or security systems technician who understands the technical side of the industry and is ready to transition into a business development position.
Successful candidates excel at and enjoy:
- Prospect, cold call, and build relationships with new commercial customers throughout the Las Vegas market
- Identify and connect with IT managers, facilities leaders, property managers, security leaders, and other key decision-makers
- Develop direct customer relationships rather than relying primarily on general contractor bid lists
- Generate new business opportunities across electronic security, fire alarm, and low-voltage services
Your previous experience includes:
- 3+ years of business development, outside sales, or account management experience
- Experience selling security systems, fire alarm, low-voltage, access control, CCTV, or related technologies
- Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills
- Ability to confidently discuss technical solutions with customers
