Flexible scheduling options are available, including 4x10 or 5x8 shifts during the hours of 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring that our team can accommodate personal and professional commitments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, group, or family psychotherapy/counseling to clients experiencing various mental health challenges.
\n
• Conduct comprehensive interviews to gather and interpret social, personal, environmental, and health information to assess client needs effectively.
\n
• Evaluate and treat mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, and substance use disorders, fostering intervention plans that align with clients' goals.
\n
• Coordinate and plan therapeutic activities and programs that meet the social and emotional needs of clients, ensuring an integrative and client-focused approach.
\n
• Facilitate cognitive, affective, and behavioral health interventions, including crisis resolution and referrals to community resources tailored to individual client needs.
\n
• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with clients, promoting mutual respect and acceptance throughout the therapeutic process.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, revising approaches as necessary to improve client outcomes.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation according to organizational protocols and regulatory standards.

• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring timely case documentation reflects the services provided.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health.

• Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to team initiatives and organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Parent Infant Mental Counseling Center, your primary focus will be on serving infants and their families who are grappling with complex emotional and psychosocial issues. You will engage with a diverse clientele, addressing challenges such as trauma, attachment disorders, postpartum depression, and providing intervention strategies that support mental well-being and resilience in early childhood development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in California is mandatory.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in the mental health field is preferred.

• Demonstrated proficiency in providing counseling services for behavioral health issues, including but not limited to mood disorders, substance dependence, grief, and family therapy.
