Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct ongoing assessments to accurately identify the needs, challenges, and goals of each client, ensuring tailored treatment plans.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, direct care staff, and other stakeholders to discuss client progress and any necessary adjustments to treatment strategies.

• Develop and maintain a detailed schedule of appointments and home visits to monitor client progress and facilitate effective service delivery.

• Coordinate and conduct home visits when applicable, documenting observations and gathering insights to support targeted treatment plans.

• Implement client program plans with precision, ensuring adherence to established protocols and quality of care standards.

• Partake in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to collaborate on client care strategies and share knowledge with peers.
\n
• Prepare thorough monthly and quarterly progress notes that reflect client engagement and therapeutic advancements.
\n
• Organize training sessions to ensure that all staff members are proficient in program implementation and related documentation.
\n
• Provide follow-up services, including interviews and observations, to guarantee ongoing support for client needs.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive records to enable effective tracking of client progress and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.

• Act as a liaison with the public and the mental health community, championing client developmental goals and promoting awareness of mental health resources.

• Assist in the creation of training materials aimed at enhancing program effectiveness and staff competence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults and youth facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will be crucial in fostering meaningful connections and delivering personalized care that meets each client’s unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must possess active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical context.

• A strong background in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-focused counseling is preferred.

• Thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards governing the practice of mental health counseling.
