Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients, utilizing therapeutic methodologies that address emotional and behavioral issues.

• Conduct crisis intervention sessions, offering immediate support to clients in distress during scheduled appointments or via telehealth sessions.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of clinical notes and progress updates, adhering to organizational policies and practices to ensure compliance and quality.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate and revise treatment plans, including utilizing psychosocial assessments to inform ongoing interventions.

• Engage with community resource organizations and represent Mindful Therapy & Wellness in meetings that address social needs, enhancing support networks for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will work with a wide-ranging patient population, including children, adults, and families struggling with mental health issues and substance use disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may face unique challenges relating to cultural, social, and economic factors. Your role is to create a supportive and empowering environment that addresses each individual's specific requirements and helps them navigate their journeys to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in therapy, with a strong focus on crisis counseling and experience working in outpatient settings.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong organizational and analytical abilities.

• Adept at understanding and following established policies and procedures while confidently making timely decisions.
