The work schedule typically spans Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ psychological and emotional needs, considering their co-occurring medical conditions.

• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that integrate psychiatric and medical care, ensuring a holistic approach to patient health.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing effective therapeutic modalities tailored to diverse patient situations, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Work collaboratively with medical providers to ensure coordinated care, attending case conferences and participating in interdisciplinary treatment planning.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and emotional support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Educate patients on the intricate relationship between mental and physical health, empowering them with strategies to manage their conditions effectively.

• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

Compensation and Benefits\n
