Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the patient's trauma history, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique circumstances.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and rebuilding resilience, adapting your approach to suit individual client needs.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process trauma, foster coping mechanisms, and promote emotional well-being.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other allied health professionals to provide integrated care and ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating your expertise in high-stress situations.

• Educate clients and their families about the impact of trauma, coping strategies, and resources available to support their journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and high-quality recordkeeping.

• Engage in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and develop collaborative strategies for best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying informed of the latest advancements in trauma therapy and integrating them into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with primarily consist of individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes survivors of abuse, neglect, and complex trauma, leading to conditions such as PTSD and dissociative disorders. Your role in fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment will be crucial in enabling these clients to navigate their healing journey effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, with demonstrated expertise in trauma-focused therapies.

• Profound understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment models.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to connect compassionately with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Effective communication skills, fostering an open, collaborative, and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology to document client progress and conduct sessions seamlessly.

Compensation and Benefits\n
