Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, create accurate clinical diagnoses, and establish effective treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs.

• Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, which may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic modalities.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and supportive services for clients experiencing acute mental health issues or emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records in alignment with ethical and legal standards, including documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment outcomes.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic support, ensuring that each client's care plan is multifaceted and inclusive of their specific needs.

• Empower clients and their families by educating them on mental health disorders, treatment options, and available resources in the community, while advocating for their rights and needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers on serving a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a licensed mental health counselor at Eleanor Behavioral Health Center, you will work to facilitate improved mental health outcomes by utilizing culturally competent practices and tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• Valid California license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW).

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus to welcome new team members.
