Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Odyssey House, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities aimed at delivering effective mental health services. Your daily activities will include:

• Conducting thorough diagnostic evaluations aligning with the latest DSM guidelines, with supervision provided by licensed professionals.

• Crafting individualized treatment plans that may incorporate various evidence-based modalities for children, adults, couples, and families.

• Providing clinical services, including crisis intervention, skills training, and supportive therapy interventions.

• Offering counseling in a range of settings such as individual, family, group therapy, and Intensive Outpatient Programs.

• Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care and treatment planning.

• Documenting therapy sessions accurately and maintaining 'best practice' records according to state and organizational guidelines.

• Participating actively in team meetings, sharing insights on cases and contributing to quality management initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly involve assisting clients grappling with mental health disorders, relational conflicts, and dual diagnoses. The individuals you support may be experiencing a variety of challenges including trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and relationship issues. As such, the role requires an empathetic approach and the ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to suit diverse client backgrounds and needs. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A current LMFT license or Psy.D. for the state of Texas.
