Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at the Crisis Preparation & Psychiatry Center, you will:

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations using the latest DSM standards, under supervision as necessary.

• Provide short-term psychotherapy and therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups, aiming to enhance overall mental well-being.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities to address a variety of mental health issues while incorporating case management and treatment planning into your practice.
\n
• Participate in crisis intervention and coordination of care when necessary, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists.

• Document therapy sessions, prepare reports, and maintain accurate client records in our electronic health record system.
\n
• Engage in clinical team meetings and quality management activities to ensure high standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of the position involves working with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with mental health disorders, families requiring assistance with relational issues, and clients facing dual diagnoses. As part of our commitment to holistic care, LMFTs will engage in a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client, including couples counseling, crisis management, and support for those enduring stressful life transitions.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for the LMFT role, candidates must possess:

• A valid LMFT license in the state of Florida.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• At least 2 years of experience in providing psychotherapy services.
\n
• Experience in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health records for client management.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
