Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments through in-depth interviews, tools, and observations to determine the severity and uniqueness of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to devise and implement individualized treatment plans tailored specifically to their needs, aspirations, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educate and empower clients and their families regarding mood disorders, therapeutic options, and practical self-care strategies to facilitate recovery.

• Continuously monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, adjusting therapeutic methods and interventions as necessary to optimize effectiveness.

• Work in close coordination with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver an integrated approach to client care.

• Stay informed on advancements and research in the field of mood disorders to enhance treatment methods and outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, complying with established legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve clients dealing with various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. We cater to a wide demographic, and you will have the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences, ensuring equitable mental health care and promoting recovery through a compassionate approach.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
