Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule effectively. While you will be working from home, you will remain a vital part of our outpatient team, participating in regular meetings and consultations via video conferencing tools. Our operational hours span Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility based on patient needs. We prioritize a collaborative online environment to ensure seamless communication and support among our clinicians.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate client's needs, ensuring the development of tailored treatment plans that align with their personal goals and challenges.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, delivering both individual and group therapy sessions to foster patient progress and empowerment.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that address prevalent mental health issues, providing patients the opportunity to connect with peers and share experiences in a safe space.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other behavioral health professionals to guarantee integrated care and comprehensive support for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients in distress, offering immediate support and assessment to ensure their safety and well-being.
\n
• Conduct patient education sessions to explain mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources, empowering patients to take charge of their health.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards while leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems for record-keeping.

• Actively engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Stay informed about the latest advances in mental health care and therapeutic methodologies to continually offer the best service to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on treating adult clients experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, relationship difficulties, and substance abuse issues. You will collaborate with clients to foster a therapeutic alliance, utilize motivational interviewing techniques, and apply culturally competent practices to address the unique backgrounds and needs of diverse populations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is mandatory.

• Demonstrated strong knowledge of mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with clients.

• Sound ethical judgment with respect for professional boundaries and patient confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting providing individual and group therapy is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
