Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Provide therapeutic interventions across various formats, including individual sessions, group therapy, and family counseling, while adapting techniques to meet diverse client needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and behavioral health specialists, to deliver comprehensive client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with a diverse population, including adults, children, and adolescents, each facing unique mental health challenges. Drawing from your expertise, you will tailor your therapeutic approach to meet the varying developmental and emotional needs of your clients, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience (at least two years) providing counseling in a clinical context, with a strong foundational understanding of therapy techniques.

• Familiarity with the challenges faced by adult and youth populations, and an ability to provide culturally competent care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Liberty Behavioral Healthcare Clinic offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, supplemented with a signing bonus.
