Key Responsibilities\n

  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy to individuals, couples, and families.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic client care and optimal treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Happy Habits, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing various mental health challenges. Our focus is on clients who may have limited access to mental health resources, requiring sensitivity and adaptability in your approach to accommodate their unique circumstances. You will play a crucial role in addressing issues related to trauma, substance misuse, family dynamics, and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • \n
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • \n
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical environment.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practices.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
