Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• One year of acute care experience.
• Recent experience in Emergency Department nursing.
• Recent EPIC experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care, including triage, treatment, and discharge care for patients in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct accurate triage assessments and notify the Emergency Medical Doctor of any abnormal findings.
• Administer medications and provide medication side effects education to patients.
• Recognize symptoms of cardiac or respiratory distress and implement appropriate interventions.
• Maintain competence in routine nursing skills, including medication administration and intravenous therapy.
• Accurately interpret ECG rhythms and manage care during life-threatening emergencies.
