Key Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive patient care management, including diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing necessary dermatological procedures.
• Engage with patients through counseling and education, ensuring they are well-informed about their conditions and the options available to them.
• Collaborate closely with our facility's attending physicians to assess patient needs, coordinate care, and enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with departmental policies.
• Participate actively in staff meetings and in-service trainings, adhering to mandatory evaluations that uphold our standards of care.
• Demonstrate age-specific competency in providing patient care, utilizing tailored communication strategies that reflect patients’ individual needs based on factors such as age and health status.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population seeking cosmetic and reconstructive dermatology services. Your clinical expertise will be pivotal in addressing a wide range of dermatological issues, including skin cancers, acne scarring, and signs of aging. Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing, with a focus on Nurse Practitioner qualification.
• Active Nurse Practitioners Certification (NP-C) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are mandatory; additional certifications may be required depending on departmental focus.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a dermatology or related field, showcasing proficiency in independent decision-making and patient management.
• Experience with cosmetic procedures and aesthetic dermatology is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
