Work Environment\n

This is a unique opportunity to work in a telehealth setting from the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of our dynamic team based in Glastonbury, Connecticut. We offer flexible scheduling, with primary working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends as required. On-call availability may also be necessary to ensure continuous support for our students.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to each student’s unique needs, focusing on various special needs and challenges.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that address mental health and emotional well-being, ensuring successful integration into the academic community.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to conditions such as ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and ADHD.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at promoting personal growth, emotional regulation, and the development of effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
\n
• Respond to mental health emergencies by providing effective crisis intervention and support.
\n
• Offer psychoeducation to both students and families, aiding them in understanding mental health conditions and available resources.
\n
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, including HIPAA guidelines.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to ongoing staff development activities.

• Stay abreast of current laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines affecting mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily engage with students facing a wide array of challenges—including ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and trauma. Your work will focus on enhancing their mental health, promoting emotional stability, and improving their overall academic experience. By offering specialized therapeutic interventions and support, you will be instrumental in helping them navigate their unique challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid LCSW licensure in Connecticut.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Skill in conducting quality mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Proven ability to deliver individual and group therapy using various therapeutic approaches, fostering resilience and recovery.

• Excellent crisis intervention capabilities and the ability to manage stressful situations with composure.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in a relevant setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, based on experience and qualifications.
