Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work combined with occasional in-person sessions in our outpatient office. You will be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that values ongoing education and support. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing you to maintain an optimal work-life balance while engaging in fulfilling therapeutic practice.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine the severity and duration of our clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that reflect their personal goals and requirements, ensuring their active involvement in the therapeutic process.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective treatment interventions.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, exploring treatment options and self-care strategies to empower them in their journey toward wellness.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to address shifting needs and goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse array of clients, primarily individuals and families coping with mood disorders. This population may include those experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support vulnerable groups, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, providing them with the encouragement and therapeutic support necessary for recovery and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
