Position Overview

Mountain Top Cardiology Consultants is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team in Olean, New York. This full-time position involves providing specialized outpatient care within the Center for Advanced Cardiac Care (CACC), where you will operate under the guidance of the Chief Nurse Practitioner and the Medical Director of our Cardiology Division. Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our Hospital facility, engaging closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. The work setting fosters collaboration, and as an NP, you will have the opportunity to engage with physicians, registered nurses, and administrative staff in a multidisciplinary framework. The office operates Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic with no night or weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities

In this vital role, you will:

• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare providers to manage complex patient cases.
• Assess patients for conditions like Hypertension, High Cholesterol, and other cardiovascular issues.
• Conduct outpatient Electrophysiology services to evaluate and treat patients with abnormal electrocardiograms and arrhythmias.
• Monitor and manage patients presenting with acute cardiac conditions, such as Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, and Stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack.
• Administer Stress Testing as clinically indicated to assess cardiac function and health.
• Perform comprehensive histories, physical examinations, and prescribe medications according to best practices.
• Consult with on-site cardiologists to ensure optimal patient care and reference patients for specialist consultations within our group as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on managing cardiovascular health effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this position is on adult patients dealing with various cardiovascular conditions. You will provide care to a diverse population, including those with chronic illnesses and acute physiological events. Your contributions will directly impact patient outcomes through education and tailored management of their cardiac health.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in relevant specialties.
• A current NP license to practice in New York State.
• Completion of an accredited NP program aligned with the needs of the department.

Preferred Experience

We welcome both seasoned Nurse Practitioners and recent graduates. However, experience in hospital-based cardiology settings, outpatient care, or prior cardiology-related training will be highly regarded. Familiarity with Electrophysiology and device management is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary range for this position is USD 120,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
